We’re absolutely stoked to announce that Ernie Cunningham of the Grammy-nominated band Body Count is now proudly wearing Barmetal! With frontman Ice-T leading the charge, Body Count recently rocked stages across Europe, including legendary festivals like Download in the UK, Rock am Ring in Germany, Hellfest in France, and Aerodrome in the Czech Republic. It’s an honor to have Ernie representing Barmetal as they continue to make waves in the music scene!
Body Count’s latest album “Bloodlust,” released last year, is a powerful record of metal brilliance. Featuring the popular single “This is Why We Ride,” alongside tracks boasting guest appearances from heavyweights like Dave Mustaine (Megadeth), Max Cavalera (Soulfly), and Randy Blythe (Lamb of God), the album showcases the band’s versatility and raw energy.
With a genre-defying blend of rap, thrash, and hardcore punk, Body Count has left an indelible mark on the music scene. Their legacy includes the highly controversial yet influential song “Cop Killer,” which stirred intense debate upon its release as part of their self-titled debut album in 1992. Through their fearless approach and unapologetic attitude, Body Count continues to push boundaries and inspire generations of fans worldwide.
